A little bit about me

I was born and raised on the island of Guam, surrounded by an infinite ocean and jungles. I have a big and loving family, and to this day, cherish memories of my grandma baking fresh bread into the wee hours of the morning, spending days cruising around the island with friends, attending fiestas and the food – don’t get me started on the food!

My upbringing was also influenced by the many photographers in my family, including a Pulitzer Prize winner for photojournalism. With my love of the ocean, appreciation for life’s everyday moments, and inspirational mentors all around me, it’s no wonder my path led me to become a photographer.

I attended and received my certificate in photojournalism from the New York Institute of Photography. I’m also a member of the National Association of Professional Child Photographers. And while I honed my craft taking countless photos of my kids, I’ve been a professional photographer for nearly a decade.

Pause… and be present. This moment is fleeting.

Be still.
