She ran around me tugging at my shirt, laughing, grinning from ear to ear. I snapped away... trying to freeze this moment. Not worrying if the photo is in focus... or if the shutter speed was adequate.... or the fact that I was losing light really really quickly. She was laughing... I was laughing... all the stresses slipped away for this moment. Happy Friday!
As I was reading up on tips and tricks on macro photography... one of the photographers mentioned using glycerin to create the illusion of raindrops. When my attempts at creating 'rain drops' failed..... I ran to Michaels and bought Glycerin. I must admit a part of me is bummed to know that the beautiful raindrop macro photos that I absolutely love could potentially be man made with Glycerin. Kinda like... being told Santa isn't real.
